Nomad Story:
Q. How did you become a digital nomad?
I became a digital nomad in 2020 when my job transitioned to a fully remote setup. This change opened up the opportunity to explore the world while continuing my career. Also, My family lives between Poland, Italy, the UK and Central Asia so I try to visit them often.
Q. Highlight your favourite destination and tell us why.
Spain is my favorite. The locals are welcoming, the weather is amazing, and there’s always something to do—from cultural activities to outdoor adventures. Plus, I speak Spanish, which makes it easy to connect with people. The cost of living is affordable, and there are plenty of great coworking spaces and cafés to work from.
Q. The biggest challenges you’ve faced on the road.
Traveling with big suitcases has been a challenge. visa requirements for certain countries. Time zone differences can also be tricky, especially when working with U.S. colleagues while I’m in Asia.
Q. How do you balance work and travel?
I plan big travels for the weekends and make the most of long layovers in cities like Istanbul or Doha to break up long flights and adjust my sleep schedule.
Q. Any unique skills or strategies you’ve developed while being nomadic?
I’ve mastered the art of planning and packing, ensuring my outfits are suited to any country or climate. Adapting quickly to different environments has also become second nature.

It motivates me to finish things asap and explore new cities and generate a budget for the next trip.

I always carry thermoses for food and liquids, allowing me to bring my own meals and avoid depending on local options.
